There are so many things in life that frustrate us, annoy us, seem pointless, or simply just aren’t appealing. As we age, the little things we avoid often have much bigger consequences when ignored.
Don’t get me wrong—some things are probably best kept in the past. But if you want a good life and healthy relationships, putting in the time and effort is a must. The only person who can do your part is you.
SHARPER LEADER:
1. What is something you’ve been neglecting that you know you shouldn’t?
Action Step: Write down one thing you’ll stop putting off— and get to work.
2. Who have you been avoiding because of hurt, annoyance, or anger?
Action Step: If this is a person you need—or eventually want—in your life, take the first step towards restoration. Seek professional assistance if necessary.
3. What helps you do “the hard things”?
Action Step: Listen to those who struggle. If they ask for help, share what works for you. If they don’t ask, let your results speak for themselves.
Recommended book: Greenlights by Matthew McConaughey
